What farm would be complete without a dog?
This is Trixie.She's our 8 week old Border Collie/Australian Shephard mixed puppy.
Until this week, all of our kids have been terrified of dogs.
If a dog came close, Brianna would go into near hysteria. Surprisingly, she's the one who has become more attached and desires to spend the most time with Trixie.
Trixie has been true to her breed already. She likes to help round up the chickens at night, and she seems to be loyal and protective of her family.

We had the same problem with Caroline. It's amazing how many fears having a dog can overcome. We love our dog. He is such a part of our family. Now my kids have no fear of huge dogs but you get him around a yorkie and my son falls apart!
